Performance

Many drivers have sought out EVs for the ability to bypass the pump. Having a discernible range is crucial when choosing the ideal EV. The Mustang Mach-E offers a competitive range. As with any vehicle bearing the “Mustang” name, it delivers remarkable performance that surpasses expectations.

Performance and range vary by trim. Each variant of the Mustang Mach-E has its own advantages. To help you decide which version is ideal, we’re going to break down each trim and its available powertrains.

2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E Select

All trims of the Mustang Mach-E offer considerable performance and range. The base trim, the Select, is an affordable option that any potential EV owner will find favorable. The Select trim is available with either RWD or eAWD. Two batteries are also available to enhance range and performance: a standard-range 73 kWh battery and an 88 kWh battery for extended range.

RWD versions with the standard range battery offer a range of 260 miles. The setup allows the Mach-E to produce 264 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque. The eAWD version with the standard-range battery still offers 240 miles of range. Performance increased to 325 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.

To achieve the best performance from the Select trim, eAWD and the extended-range battery are required. The combination allows for a range of 300 miles. It also produces 370 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque.

2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium

The Premium trims of the Mustang Mach-E build on the Select’s available performance features. Like its predecessor, it comes with both RWD and eAWD configurations. However, it also offers an additional configuration for drivers to choose from.

A notable difference between the two trims is the Premium’s ability to pair RWD with the extended range battery. The result is a range of 320 miles between charges. Performance is great, with 272 hp and 387 lb-ft of torque.

2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E GT

Any vehicle with the Mustang nameplate is expected to deliver high performance. The Select and Premium trims are both ideal for drivers who want good fuel economy and acceleration. However, its upper trims carry on the Mustang’s legacy as a muscle car.

The GT is an eAWD-exclusive trim. It’s powered by an extended range 91 kWh battery that produces 480 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Torque can be increased to 700 lb-ft with the Mustang Mach-E GT Performance Upgrade. The GT trim offers plenty of range for commuters, with 280 miles on a single charge.

2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally

This is where all bets are off. This is where the rubber meets the road and performance takes precedent. The Rally trim is powered by the same 91 kWh extended-range battery found on the GT trim. 480 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque are joined by a range of 225 miles on a full charge.

Interior

The Mustang Mach-E doesn’t lack the electrifying performance that many EV owners seek. Like many SUVs, it offers impressive advantages behind the wheel. The Mach-E offers plenty of seating and storage, along with many tech-savvy features that ensure connectivity.

Seating and Storage

Plentiful passenger and cargo space has always been associated with the SUV class. The Mustang Mach-E provides both. The all-electric SUV provides seating for five passengers with room to spare. With both rows of seating occupied, the Mach-E offers over 29 cu.ft. of storage room. Folding the rear seats down unlocks 59.7 cu.ft. ideal for situations that require the most space possible.

The storage capabilities of the Mach-E don’t end there. Taking the place where an engine compartment usually goes is a “frunk.” It offers an additional 2.6 cu.ft. of cargo space and is ideal for storing documents and other personal items.

Keeping Connected on the Road Ahead

The modern SUV owner looks for much more than comfortable seating and storage space. They seek tech-savvy features that keep them connected to their favorite apps and other technologies. The 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E offers connectivity that exceeds expectations.

All trims come with a 15.5-inch infotainment system. The intuitive system is designed to offer drivers the best in connectivity. The screen is powered by the Ford Digital Experience, a cloud-based platform that features Google built-in. Drivers have access to navigation with real-time traffic and weather updates. There’s also the ability to stream multiple platforms, including YouTube and HBO Max, to provide the best in entertainment.

All versions also get a full year of access to the Ford Connectivity Package. Some of its advantages include unlimited Wi-Fi and the ability to connect up to 10 devices at once. Ford is leading the way in taking connectivity to a whole new level.

Audio Benefits

The Mustang Mach-E’s infotainment system can instantly connect you to your favorite music and podcasts. You can enjoy them through two available stereo systems that deliver pristine audio quality.

The Select trim features a six-speaker system placed throughout the interior for an enjoyable listening experience. All other trims feature a Bang & Olufsen-designed system. It features 10 speakers and a subwoofer for concert-quality audio.

Safety and Driving Assistance Technology

Both the performance and interior advantages of the 2026 Mustang Mach-E make it a favorable choice for commuters. Many SUV buyers are family-oriented drivers who prioritize safety above all else. Luckily, Ford’s all-electric SUV is packed with multiple driving assistance features that offer protection and oversight.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+

The Select and Premium trims come standard with Co-Pilot360 Assist+. It’s a comprehensive suite of driving assistance features that builds on Ford’s Co-Pilot360. These features are designed to offer drivers protection and oversight for peace of mind.

Ford’s Co-Pilot360 already offers the basics for driver safety. Items such as Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking enhance oversight and reaction time during a potential collision. Other items, such as a Blind Spot Information System and Cross-Traffic Alert, are crucial for helping you extend your field of vision.

Co-Pilot360 Assist+ builds on these standard items. The more advanced suite includes three more features not included in the regular Co-Pilot360 suite.

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go Technology and Lane Centering
  • Evasive Steering Assist
  • Post Collision Braking

Ford Co-Pilot 360 Active 2.0

Ford’s most comprehensive suite of driving assistance features, Co-Pilot Active 2.0, is standard on both the GT and Rally trims and available on the Select and Premium trims. It includes features at the cutting edge of innovation.

  • Active Park Assist 2.0: The fully automated parking technology makes the task easier than ever. It can handle steering, braking, and acceleration. It’s an ideal feature for Mach-E owners who live in busy suburban areas.
  • Driver Monitoring Camera: Your attention is the first line of defense in being a safe driver. An infrared camera monitors driver alertness to prevent fatigue from setting in.

Available BlueCruise

Perhaps the most advanced feature on the Mustang Mach-E, BlueCruise is a semi-autonomous driving technology. With hundreds of thousands of pre-programmed roads, hands-free driving is now more accessible than ever.
