Find Your F-150 at DePaula Ford

With 2017 drawing to a close, it’s an exciting time at DePaula Ford. New models are starting to arrive on our lot, and while we’re excited to see the changes and tweaks that our favorite models have undergone, we still have a great inventory of excellent 2017 models for our clients to explore. In fact, there’s no better time than now to come explore the 2017 Ford F-150  – the number one full-sized pickup truck according to U.S. News & World Report and Americans nationwide.

Performance

When you visit DePaula Ford to start shopping for a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck, your hardest decision won’t be “should I buy this truck?” but rather “which engine option should I choose?” And with the 2017 Ford F-150’s choice of five engines available, we won’t blame you if it takes a while to decide.

The base engine is a 3.5-liter V6 that gets 282 horsepower. If you’re looking for a little more power, there’s also a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 that gets 325 horsepower, a 5.0-liter V8 that gets 385 horsepower and a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that gets 375. Finally, there is a V6 engine that is only available on the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor model – and it flies with 450 horses. And as if those weren’t enough options for you, some models also allow you to upgrade from the standard six-speed automatic transmission to a ten-speed automatic transmission. So before you buy your 2017 Ford F-150, you may want to take a minute to figure out exactly how much engine you really need in your pickup truck; it’s certainly easy to go all out when it comes to engines in a 2017 Ford F-150.

Of course, considering the 2017 Ford F-150 offers decent fuel economy for its class, it might not matter much to you if you go overboard on your engine. Opting for the base model 3.5-liter V6 will get you an EPA-estimated 17 miles per gallon in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, which is perfectly acceptable for the class. However, if you want to be even more fuel-efficient, you’ll opt for the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 since it gets 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Sure, the upgraded engine might cost you a few bucks extra upfront, but you’ll save over the long-term in the 2.7-liter V6.

Interior

You might think that choosing the engine to power your 2017 Ford F-150 is a tough choice, but just wait until you have to pick a trim level. With seven trims to choose from, you’ll want to spend some dedicated time exploring the ins-and-outs of each model with one of our knowledgeable sales members. They will start out by introducing you to the base model XL and will happily show you the XLT, the Lariat, the Raptor, the King Ranch, the Platinum and finally the Limited Ford F-150’s.

To give you an idea of what awaits you when you open the door to the 2017 Ford F-150 lineup, the base model XL comes equipped with very little as it typically used for a work truck. So you’ll most likely want to jump straight up to the XLT if you’re after a little bit of luxury in your pick-up truck.

The XLT comes standard with remote keyless entry, power windows and power locks, a USB port, Ford’s SYNC infotainment system, rear privacy glass, interior storage bins and alloy wheels. Additionally, there are several package options that you can add to the XLT trim to add things such as a trailer hitch, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, or a rearview camera to your 2017 Ford F-150. In fact, you can even add remote ignition, heated seats and an eight-inch touch screen if you opt for the Luxury package. There’s really no shortage of ways in which to customize your pickup truck if you buy a 2017 Ford F-150.

Of course, you could always just go for the fully-loaded 2017 Ford F-150 in Limited trim. It has a starting MSRP of $59,795 and includes many of the features you would get if you opted to include the package options available on other trims. Of course, considering the 2017 Ford F-150 in XLT has starting price of $32,100, you may just be better to pick and choose your package perks. At DePaula Ford, our sales team is more than happy to walk through the trims and options available to you when you purchase a 2017 Ford F-150.
