When it comes to newer generation models, the tech continues to advance and the features continue to expand. If you’re shopping for a full-size pickup from Ford or Toyota, where does the 2024 Ford F-150 vs 2024 Toyota Tundra stand in terms of tech offerings? Well, there are actually some fairly noteworthy and significant technological feats that the 2024 F-150 has over the 2024 Tundra. These are the kinds of features some of you may not be able to live without, and that’s why we’re covering the six ways that the 2024 Ford F-150 manages to offer better tech over the 2024 Toyota Tundra, so you can witness for yourself just how much more advanced Ford’s light-duty pickup is over Toyota’s offering.

#1 – Standard Heads-Up Display

Traveling is made easier by giving you all of the telemetry and vehicle health information without having to constantly look down at the digital driver display or the infotainment touchscreen. This is often achieved with a driver-side heads-up display, which is available both for the Ford F-150 and the Toyota Tundra. However, how they deliver this technology to drivers is vastly different. For instance, with the 2024 Toyota Tundra, to access the heads-up display technology, you have to purchase a separate package for a specific trim. There is a package for the 1794 Edition that enables you to access the driver-side heads-up display. Otherwise, without the package, this helpful feature is not available.

The 2024 Ford F-150, however, comes with a heads-up display that’s available for the LARIAT as part of a package, but it comes standard with the King Ranch, the Platinum, and the Raptor. So for three of the trims, the heads-up display is not a separate feature from the other trim features. Safety is a very important component for both the 2024 Toyota Tundra and the 2024 Ford F-150. They both come with their own comprehensive safety suites, featuring a healthy number of driver assistance and automated aids for actively preventing collisions.
