If you like the perks of the Ford Blue Certified program, but wish there were more, then you will really love the Ford Gold Certified program. Ford Gold Certified vehicles are very similar to Ford Blue Certified, but they are less than six years old and undergo a more intense inspection. Gold Certified vehicles have undergone a multipoint inspection which covers 172 different components of the vehicles. This inspection covers everything the Blue inspection does but includes additional elements of the interior such as seats and carpet. Along with the comprehensive limited warranty, Blue Certified Fords can also come with 24/7 roadside assistance that lasts for up to seven years/100,000 miles from the original date of sale. Because Blue Certified vehicles may be up to ten years old and have up to 120,000 miles on them, this may not apply to every Blue Certified vehicle, but we can go over which of our inventory still has this perk.
The Gold Certified vehicle program comes with a couple of different warranties on top of what the Blue Certified program offers. If you get a Gold Certified vehicle, then your Ford comes with some additional coverage. Instead of just 90 days, you get 12 months/12,000 miles for the comprehensive limited warranty. The Gold Certified program also offers a seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. The powertrain warranty acts as additional coverage for your vehicle's engine and drivetrain components. The Gold Certified vehicles have over 1,000 different aspects of the vehicle covered under the various warranties. The Gold program also comes with 24/7 roadside assistance, and since these models are up to six years old with less than 80,000 miles, they will all have this coverage for a period of time.
