For the toughest jobs and the most demanding hauls, the Ford Super Duty has always been a reliable option for individuals and fleet managers alike. The Super Duty lineup has served drivers for decades, and the 2027 Ford F-350 continues the 14th-generation lineup with new options and updates designed to expand its capability.

As a one-ton Super Duty pickup, the 2027 F-350 is offered in five trim levels, ranging from the work-focused XL to the luxurious Platinum. The trims are listed below and are available in different cab and bed options, as well as a dual-rear-wheel configuration:

  • XL
  • XLT
  • Lariat
  • King Ranch
  • Platinum

For 2027, Ford expands the F-350’s versatility with new packages, additional configuration options, and updates inspired by customer feedback. This makes the F-350 much more flexible to meet your work and recreation demands.

New Options

The headlining feature for 2027 is the new Carhartt Package for the F-350 XLT. This rugged option features Carhartt interior and exterior badging to show your hard-working nature. It even includes unique hard-wearing cloth seats with triple stitching inspired by Carhartt’s tough Duck Canvas that will hold up to years of heavy use.

Additionally, the Tremor Off-Road Package is now available for the base XL trim with the STX Appearance Package, making it more accessible to those who want an off-road F-350 at a lower price point. This includes a lifted suspension, 35-inch tires, skid plates, Trail Control, and more. The Tremor is now also available with the Crew Cab Long Box configuration.

Ford also introduced a new XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package for shoppers who want greater off-road capability from a work-focused F-350. The package includes a lifted suspension, electronic locking rear differential, and performance shocks. There are no special decals here, just a pure workhorse designed to operate off-road.

Performance-First Engineering

For 2027, Ford streamlined the F-350 powertrain lineup around two V8 engines—one gas and one diesel. Shoppers can also choose between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, as well as single- and dual-rear-wheel configurations. This gives flexibility for daily driving, work tasks, and recreation across a broad range of uses.

The lineup consists of the 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 and the 6.7-liter Power Stroke High Output turbo-diesel V8. Both engines are mated to a TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission with selectable drive modes, which include: Normal, Eco, Slippery, and Tow/Haul.

Engine Horsepower Torque
7.3-Liter Godzilla V8 420 hp 445 lb-ft
6.7-Liter Power Stroke High Output Turbo-Diesel V8 500 hp 1200 lb-ft

Performance Built for Stability

Heavy-duty shock absorbers, a stabilizer bar, and power hydraulic steering give the F-350 a foundation suited to everyday driving as well as demanding towing and hauling. It also offers an electronic locking rear differential, which is important for those who need to lock in and gain additional traction from the truck.

Every 2027 F-350 comes equipped with AdvanceTrac stability control, which can automatically apply the brakes when it detects a potential loss of control. This system helps avoid lateral skids, oversteer, and loss of control from wheelspin. Whether you’re running errands or trailering a large load, AdvanceTrac helps keep the truck steady.

This works in conjunction with the Roll Stability Control, or RSC. When you’re taking tight corners, this patented system automatically uses its roll-rate sensors to apply the brakes and adjust engine power to stay upright. Together, AdvanceTrac and RSC are designed to help the F-350 maintain control during demanding driving situations.

One-Ton Capability

A reinforced chassis supports the F-350’s heavy-duty capability, while multiple cab, bed, and drivetrain configurations allow shoppers to tailor the truck to their needs. This makes the F-350 highly adaptable for towing, hauling, and running errands.

The 2027 F-350 offers three cab configurations, giving shoppers a choice between a Regular Cab, SuperCab, and Crew Cab. Depending on the configuration, the truck can seat up to six people across two rows. If all you need is a basic cab for work, the Regular Cab is a great solution, but for family or extra space, the SuperCab and Crew Cab provide more passenger volume.

There are two different bed sizes as well: a standard 6¾ -foot bed and an eight-foot bed. The F-350 is also available with single- or dual-rear-wheel configurations, with the dual-rear-wheel setup available with the eight-foot bed. This configuration adds rear traction and supports demanding work applications, such as trailering large loads or hauling extremely heavy cargo.

Hauling and Trailering Specs for Massive Workloads

Maximum payload reaches 7,900 pounds with the 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 and 6,935 pounds with the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8. If you’re looking for multi-ton carrying capacity, the Godzilla V8 is the perfect engine for the job. However, if you want more trailering capacity, the Power Stroke V8 is the go-to solution.

When properly equipped, the Power Stroke V8 provides you with up to 39,000 lbs worth of total trailering capacity. That towing capacity makes the Power Stroke well suited to hauling livestock trailers, vehicles, construction equipment, campers, boats, and other heavy loads.

The Godzilla V8 provides up to 22,500 lbs of towing capacity, making it highly capable and a versatile choice for those who want a truck with maximum payload capacity that is still able to trailer large loads. Both engines are designed to give truck drivers the capability to tow and haul with confidence.

Built for Convenience and Comfort

The 2027 F-350 offers several features designed to make nighttime work, loading, parking, and hitching a trailer easier. This starts with features like the LED lighting array, featuring LED headlights, LED taillights, and LED side-mirror spotlights. This helps keep the road and surrounding area well-lit and visibility high, whether you’re traveling in the dark or working at a site late into the night.

Other conveniences include a power tailgate with rear parking sensors to aid with parking in tight spots. Features like Pro Trailer Hitch Assist can also be used to help you easily and quickly hitch a trailer to the back of the truck by automatically aligning the truck with the trailer.

The tailgate also includes a tailgate-down camera and an assist step to help climb into the cargo box, making it more convenient to load and unload the truck. Available Onboard Scales can help monitor payload weight, making it easier to determine how much cargo you’re carrying and whether adjustments are needed.

Interior Features

Truck drivers making long hauls and traveling throughout the city to deliver, transport, or tow cargo with the F-350 will be pleased with the comfort features that the truck provides in its cabin.

Standard vinyl seats provide a practical, durable option for drivers who prioritize long-term durability. For a more upscale cabin, available cloth, ActiveX, and leather seating surfaces add comfort and refinement. An available eight-way power driver’s seat with memory settings lets you save preferred seating positions, perfect for when multiple people are driving the truck.

Heated and ventilated front seats are available, making it easy to keep cool or stay warm depending on the weather outside. Dual-zone automatic climate control is also available, so you and your front passenger can find a setting that suits everyone.

Advanced Tech and Safety

Accompanying all of the comfort, convenience, and performance capabilities of the 2027 F-350 Super Duty is an assortment of modern tech to help make travel easier. The customizable 4.2-inch digital driver display keeps key vehicle information within easy view, with a larger 12-inch screen standard on the Lariat trim and above.

An eight-inch center touchscreen handles infotainment, while the Lariat and higher trims receive a larger 12-inch HD touchscreen. This includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming, SiriusXM with 360L, and 5G Wi-Fi hotspot support for multiple devices. You can also add Connected Navigation so you don’t need to connect a phone to access directions.

The available head-up display is also useful for keeping track of vital information without having to take your eyes off the road. For fleet managers, the available Ford Telematics and Ford Data Services provide fleet tracking and vehicle health monitoring, streamlining operations.

Heavy-Duty Safety for the F-350

Getting to your destination reliably means having a safety system that keeps you alert, actively mitigates collisions, and keeps your cargo and goods in one piece. The Ford Co-Pilot360 safety suite provides a robust set of alerts and active driving assists to help during city driving and highway hauls.

A 360-degree camera can provide a bird’s-eye view around the truck and trailer, while an available auxiliary trailer camera gives you another view of the trailer and its surroundings. Trailer Sway Control can help manage trailer movement, while Hill Start Assist helps provide additional control when starting on an incline, giving drivers added control and stability.

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking works alongside Lane-Keeping Alert to help avoid potential collision and lane-departure situations. The Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Coverage provides additional awareness when changing lanes or backing out of parking spaces. Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Speed Sign Recognition can also make longer drives more convenient.
