In terms of total cargo volume, the Yukon has just over 94 cu.ft. of space available, nearly 10 cu.ft. less than the 2020 Ford Expedition. That might not seem like a lot on paper, but it can make a huge difference when you are loading up your vehicle with friends, family, or luggage.
There is nothing more important when looking at a vehicle or comparing different models than the kinds of safety features they have standard and available. You want to choose a full-size SUV that will help keep you safe on the road with great technology to assist you when you are behind the wheel. Although these are both safe vehicles, the 2020 Ford Expedition gives you a lot more standard safety features.
The 2020 Expedition comes with the Ford Co-Pilot360 safety package on every model, which includes some fantastic safety technology. A pre-collision assist system with automatic emergency braking, a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and a lane-keeping system are all standard on every 2020 Ford Expedition. Auto high-beam headlamps, a rearview camera, and hill start assist are also provided as standard on every single model.
With the 2020 GMC Yukon, however, standard safety features are much sparser. The starting trim of the Yukon does have hill start assist, a rear vision camera, and front and rear park assist. Features like automatic emergency braking, a rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision alert are only standard on higher trims and offered as an option on the starting trim. Some features like a lane change alert with side blind-zone alert, however, are standard on higher trims of the GMC Yukon but are not even available on the starting trim.
