Ford F-150 Limited

The Ford F-150 offers drivers several trim options, from the base XL to off-road variants like the Tremor and Raptor. At the head of the class, you’ll find the Limited, with room for five and a ton of luxury features. Since the 2021 redesign, the F-150 Limited has offered a revolutionary 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 engine with an impressive 430 hp and a maximum towing capability of 12,700 lbs. Other features of this trim include selectable drive modes that help you navigate a variety of road and trail conditions, an Integrated Trailer Brake Controller and Trailer Sway Control, and Hill Start Assist.

Inside the 2021 and newer Ford F-150 Limited, you’ll find a Flow-Through Center Console with a Stowable Floor Shifter that provides you with a flat working area when needed. In addition, you have valuable diagnostic information and control right at your fingertips with the 12-inch Digital Productivity Screen. When it comes to comfort, you and your passengers will enjoy the Ice Blue coloring of the ambient lighting in the front and rear footwells and along the center console and cupholders. And for chilly New York mornings, heated front and rear seats are standard.

Comfort doesn’t stop there, however. The Limited has Multicontour Venetian leather front bucket seats with Action Motion. What does that mean? It means that you’ll ride in comfort whether you’re headed to the grocery store or on a road trip. Action Motion seats give you the option of five different massage settings, reducing driver fatigue and increasing blood flow. These seats help keep you alert and relieve some of the exhaustion of a long trip. Other features you can find in a used F-150 Limited include an Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, a 12-inch capacitive touchscreen, connected built-in navigation, a wireless charging pad, and more.

Ford spared no expense in building its top-tier Limited trim, and finding it used gives you a great option when considering the purchase of a truck. Plus, you get the reliability and safety of Ford’s collection of driver-assist features, including things like AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, BLIS with Cross-Traffic Alert and Trailer Tow Coverage, and a unique feature you might not find elsewhere called Curve Control. This feature works with other safety systems to help your vehicle slow down when it’s going too fast on a curve.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 High Country

Like Ford, Chevrolet offers many trim options when it comes to the Silverado 1500. In fact, there may be more than you can keep track of, including the off-road ZR2. At the top of the list is the High Country, with room for five and an upgraded engine to go with its premium interior. Since it was introduced in 2015, the High Country has come standard with a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine, but you can also find versions with a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 or a 3.0L Duramax turbo-diesel.

In the bed of a used Silverado 1500 High Country, you can find features like cargo bed LED lighting, a dozen cargo tie-downs, and a Chevytec spray-on bedliner. Another addition that increases the bed functionality for the High Country is Chevy’s Multi-Flex Tailgate, which was introduced for the 2021 model year and provides you with increased cargo support and flexibility.

If you find a 2022 or later Silverado High Country, you and your passengers will enjoy a seamless connection during the drive. The standard 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system in these trucks includes Google built-in, a Bose Premium Sound System, and multiple USB ports for charging electronic devices in addition to wireless charging. You’ll also ride in comfort with ventilated driver and front passenger seats in addition to heated seats and a heated steering wheel.

Chevy also offers a wide array of driver assist features to keep you centered on the road and assist you when trailering. This includes more available camera views than any other truck in the segment. That means you can enjoy outdoor adventures with your boat or camper at Saratoga Lake without worrying, even if you’re new to trailering.

Ram 1500 TRX

Introduced in 2021, the Ram 1500 TRX is the top-tier trim of the Ram truck lineup, offering an aggressive exterior with plenty of amenities both inside and out. The Ram 1500 TRX comes standard with a 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8 engine that provides more than enough horsepower and a 0-60 mph under five seconds. Like the other two trucks listed, the TRX has room for five passengers, and you can find it with either cloth or leather-trimmed seats.

To keep you connected during the drive, the Ram TRX has a standard Uconnect 5 Nav with a 12-inch touchscreen display. This display keeps you updated regarding current weather and navigation information, plus you can connect your Apple or Android devices to access your favorite apps. When buying used, you will need to research Uconnect subscription packages to make the most of this feature.

The TRX can be found with two different Entertainment Group Packages, aptly named Level 1 and Level 2. These packages provide you with many amenities, including a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, rear under-seat storage, and instrument panel LED ambient lighting for the Level 1 Package.

For Level 2, the amenities include a long list of features you would expect to find in a top-tier truck. Details like driver-seat memory, a premium 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, and more. When checking out our used Ram 1500 inventory, you can also find the TRX with advanced driver-safety options and improvements to the bed, such as a spray-in bedliner by Mopar.

When looking at this top-tier Ram trim, it’s important to note that other Ram options can tow more. Used Ram 1500 models with the 5.7L HEMI V8 with eTorque can tow up to 12,750 lbs, while the TRX has a maximum towing capacity of 8,220 lbs. Still, that’s more than enough for most drivers.
